The District is undergoing a transfer to SchoolWires as the Webhost for all school websites. This transition will take place Fall 2015.  All communication now goes through Canvas and ParentVue/StudentVue.

DV Tradition of Excellence Award Nominations
The Thunder Tradition of Excellence Award will serve as a means of recognizing, preserving and honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to our academic programs, as well as our distinguished alumni who have excelled though their community involvement or in the professional world. Nominations are to be submitted in writing to DVHS Thunder Tradition of Excellence Committee, c/o School Principal, 16440 S. 32nd Street, Phoenix, AZ  85048 by May 1 each year.

Nomination Form
The Athletic Hall of Fame is an opportunity for maintaining the rich heritage and tradition of successful programs at Desert Vista High School.  In addition, it will serve as a means of recognizing, preserving, and honoring the individuals, coaches and athletes who made significant contributions to these programs other than the fore mentioned ways.  The Hall of Fame honors the contributions and accomplishments of these individuals who are worthy of recognition as examples for others to emulate.  For more information,  please see our athletics page under "Hall of Fame".   All nominations must be submitted on the official DVHS Athletic Hall of Fame nomination form.   Nominations must be submitted by April 1st each year for consideration.

Nominations are officially open for the Tempe Diablos Excellence in Education Awards... affectionately referred to as the "AcademyAwards for School Employees!"

 All award finalists and winners will be presented at the Excellence in Education Award Ceremony and Dinner Monday, May 2nd, 2016 atTempe Center for the Arts. The event will stream live on www.tempediablos.org.

Teacher of the Year : Overall outstanding educator
Lifetime Achievement: 15+ years in TUHSD, demonstrates high student achievement,
is innovative, inspirational and goes above & beyond.

Class Act: A dedicated, active classified employee who makes
a positive impact on students

High Impact: An employee who is engaging, provides a positive influence, takes on extra duties and makes a difference in the lives of students
Inspiration: An employee who inspires & motivates, giving their time, talent and skills to support student learning. Someone others strive to be.
Leadership: An employee who demonstrates uncompromising leadership traits, values and skills. These unsung heroes who can be counted on to lead, inspire and engage.
Rising Star: A new teacher with 3 years of service or less in TUHSD, demonstrates high student achievement, is innovative, inspirational and goes above & beyond.
